Shree Bhumi Primary School Building Project completed in Dhading, Satyadevi

July 09 , 2017

Shree Bhumi Primary School was established as a community school in 1957 in Dhading, Satyadevi. In 2015 Nepal’s devastated earthquake has destroyed the school buildings. GHCF has decided to rebuild its first project as a dream project to bring back this small village education system.  Now we are very proud to say that our dream project comes true and many kids are very happy to get back their school in few faces.

GHCF built earthquake resistant building and provided furniture and teaching materials for children too, we also built a room pre-school for children between age 3-5 years so that many small kids get an opportunities to go pre-school in the village to play and develop love on learning, We also established small library so that student can enhance their knowledge from library books and computer basic education. Meantime Shree Bhumi School is more environmental friendly with the proper management of dust and sanitation.

Thousands of Nepali does not have access to basic sanitation facilities. In fact, the lack of proper toilets in schools is one of the main reasons why adolescent girls drop out, especially in rural area and GHCF has build male and female separate toilets in the school premise so that many girls student will feel easy to go school regular.
